Telugu Desam Party (TDP) supremo Chandrababu Naidu took oath as the 24th Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday. Chandrababu has taken charge of the state for the fourth time. Governor Abdul Nazir administered the oath to the CM and ministers at Kesarpalli IT Park in Vijayawada. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, NDA ministers, and Chief Ministers of other states also attended the program.
Meanwhile, a video of this oath ceremony is going viral on social media. Health Minister JP Nadda and Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari sit together in the video.
During this, JP Nadda gives something to eat to Gadkari. It is being claimed on social media that Nadda gave gutkha to Gadkari to eat.
Verified X user, AAP leader Sakshi Gupta wrote sarcastically - Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda ji took a pledge to make the country tobacco-free by eating gutkha. Gadkari Ji was also included in this campaign.

The truth of the viral video…
To investigate the video, we reverse-searched its keyframes on Google. During the investigation, we found a video of News 18. After watching the video for 1 hour, 48 minutes, and 50 seconds, we get to the part where J.P. Nadda gives something to eat to Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari.
On zooming in and looking closely at the box that was in Nadda's hand, it becomes clear that it was not a box of tobacco but an Ayurvedic medicine. It was an Ayurvedic medicine for the throat, Yogi Kanthika, which people mistook for tobacco.

Yogi Kanthika is a throat medicine that is beneficial for sore throat and swelling including phlegm etc.
Health Minister JP Nadda's claim of consuming gutkha and feeding it to Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari during the swearing-in ceremony of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is misleading and wrong.
