J&K police filed an FIR against The Kashmir Walla and Kashmiriyat after Army complains of Fake news. The FIR number 06/2021 has been filed at Imamsahib Police Station on 30 January 2021 on the complaint of Company Commander, D-Company of 44 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) based at Imamsahib, Shopian. The case has been registered under sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) 153 and IPC 505.

A connection between The Kashmir Walla and Pakistan-Turkey can be observed. Ikram Ullah, a journalist associated with TRT World: Turkish news channel and Tribune: Pakistani newspaper, has a close connection with Kashmir Walla portal.

Ikram Ullah tagged Kashmir walla and praised the work done by Fahad Shah ( CEO of The Kashmir Walla). Fahad also acknowledged his tweets and thanked him.

Ikram also wrote articles for The Kashmir Walla though he never clarified his position in that portal. He also didn't mention that he worked for that portal.

Let's look at Ikram's article on Tribune -

Now let's see about Fahad Shah, CEO of the Kashmir Walla -

In 2017, local police detained him & interrogated for 8 hrs and confiscated his laptop. In 2018, his car was vandalized and his residence teargassed. Snapshot can be seen in Fahad profile’s cover photo

In his all article, he showed his hatred towards India. He and Fahad Shah also supported StandWithKashmir which is already exposed by many media houses. Also, they shared post outside India. Ikram's allies with Kashmir Walla raises a serious question on Internal security issues. A person working for Pakistan media houses can easily provide critical information regarding the security force's movements. In the name of journalism that news portal seems to play in the hand of Pakistan and separatists.
