NIA major action:9 Al-Qaeda terrorists arrested from Bengal and Kerala; Raid operations continue, Some more can be arrested
Nine al-Qaeda terrorists have been arrested from Murshidabad in West Bengal and Ernakulam in Kerala. This action has been taken by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). According to media reports, these people were entrusted with the responsibility of carrying out the blasts in Delhi NCR and congested areas. NIA is still in action.
India was warned in UN report
The United Nations released a report two months ago on terrorism. It was warned that there could be a large number of IS terrorists in Kerala and Karnataka. The report also claimed that the Al-Qaeda (AQIS) terrorist organization in the Indian subcontinent is plotting an attack. The current mastermind of AQIS is Osama Mahmood, who replaces the slain Asim Umar. He is plotting retaliation in the area to avenge Omar's death.
The report said - Al Qaeda may have 200 terrorists
In the report, a helpful country of IS told that there are 180 to 200 terrorists of Al Qaeda in the Indian subcontinent. They are from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Myanmar. Al Qaeda is an ally of IS in the Indian subcontinent.
