Iran is the third country to have a surgical strike in Pakistan. The United States had a surgical strike in 2011 and India in September 2016 before Iran.
The news of another surgical strike in Pakistan came out on Thursday. Reports are claiming that Iran's Revolutionary Guard entered Pakistan on the night of 2 February and carried out the surgical strike. Iranian soldiers rescued 2 of their border guards abducted by terrorist organization Jaish-al-Adal in southwestern Pakistan 3 years ago.
Iranian army described its mission as successful
According to reports, Iran had not given any information about this action to the Pakistani army. On 3 February, Iranian soldiers described their mission as successful and also informed about the liberation of the soldiers. The Jaish al-Adal terrorist group is active in southwestern Pakistan and the Iranian army is believed to have carried out a surgical strike in the same area.
Iranian soldiers kidnapped in 2018
This organization has been carrying out attacks in the southeast region of Iran. It attacked the bus of Iranian soldiers in the same area in February 2019. Several Iranian soldiers were killed and dozens were injured in this attack. In October 2018, 14 Iranian soldiers were kidnapped by this terrorist organization. The incident was carried out on the Mirzaveh border in Sistan-Balochistan province. 5 of these soldiers were released a month later.
India and USA have entered into Pakistan and carried out the operation
